Do conservatives, moderate Dems, & centrists feel like they are between a rock and a hard place at times….?

with libertarians and progressives?
What about health care? Progs want a completely govt ran health care and Liberts want no govt involvement in health care? As a moderate both are extreme to me.

As a moderate Dem [altho I hate illegal aliens and jihadi], it’s not complicated.

Every civilized nation in the world has national health care, but since the US is a plutocracy in the grip of rabid-right industrialists like the Koch Roaches who obstruct even conservative ideas in favor of reactionary regression, it’s currently politically impossible to get national healthcare through the Koch Roaches’ puppet politicians.

So we have to go w/ the flawed Ob care that’s still a vast improvement over the previous chaos.

================== Unless some legislator pulls off a last-minute double-cross, health care reform will pass the Senate this week.

Not particularly, the political process is messy. but many of the morons on all sides that post here don’t reflect anything but the anger of typical 14 year olds. They can’t vote, and as such they simply don’t count.

That odd… not that long ago I felt the same way about Conservatives and Progressives. I would vote for the lessor of two evils, but always end up with Evil. In a way it was like choosing which foot to shoot, either way you’re shot.

Both major parties want more power, more money, and only work to get re-elected. I became a Libertarian once I realized that people are out their working to take that power and special interest money from them.

Healthcare is a problem and has been since government got involved. Instead of improving the market, they tried to manage it and made it more expensive (while filling their campaign coffers along the way). Conservatives have as much to do with mismanaged healthcare system as Progressives.

However, problems aren’t just isolated to healthcare, we have many other problems. 90% of our nations problems were created within the last 100 years. Extreme problems need extreme solutions, if we want to see major improvements within our lifetime.
